Ethiopian, the national flag carrier and the largest airline group in Africa, is pleased to announce that it will start scheduled operation to Shire, Indasilssie effective October 25, 2017.
The new flights to Shire, Indaselassie will be operated as per the below schedule:-

Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, remarked: “As a national flag carrier of Ethiopia, it is our national duty to meet the air connectivity need of the national travelling public and support the Socio Economic development of the country. The commencement of flights to Indaselassie brings the number of our domestic destinations to 20. We are investing heavily in our domestic fleet and infrastructure development and are availing the largest domestic network in Africa. We are operating the latest technology regional aircraft, the Q400 and the B737, which give maximum on-board comfort to our esteemed customers, with flight punctuality on par with the best airlines in the world. We will continue to grow our domestic network and to enhance the domestic travel experience with a view to facilitate the increased flow of tourism, investment and trade to all the regions of the country”.
Ethiopian is currently upgrading the facilities at regional airports and has recently launched a night flight to Axum and Gondar.
